Living in a World Without Petroleum

Everyone has been watching the price of gasoline, seeing it climb to over four dollars per gallon and then slowly coming back down. The White House has been spinning the narrative as hard as possible, blaming the rise on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, even though gas prices had already climbed a dollar per gallon before the invasion began. But then, just to keep things fair (?) they’ve been claiming that the prices coming down are all their doing.

There are two main things that are driving gas prices up and they’re both affecting price based upon the law of supply and demand. The first of these is the wellhead price of petroleum, per barrel, and the second is our reduced refining capacity. Several refineries were either permanently closed or converted to bio-diesel production; both being processes that would cost billions to reverse.

Add to that the negative political/social climate towards the petroleum industry and it becomes clear that none of the petroleum companies are likely to be willing to invest roughly five billion dollars in a new refinery, when one of our main political parties is hell-bent on shutting them all down.

There has been perhaps no greater demonstration of the far-left’s desire to shut down the petroleum industry than a recent encounter that happened in the House Financial Service Committee, where Rashinda Tlaib, a member of the infamous “squad” badgered Jamie Dimon, CEO of Chase bank, to divest from oil and gas, refusing to loan them money at all. Dimon’s response made it clear that he thought such an action was dangerous, as he said it “would be the road to hell for America.”

I have to agree with him. The left’s insistence that global warming is the greatest threat to human existence and that it is all due to fossil fuels is dangerous. We’re already seeing California tell electric vehicle owners not to charge their cars, because they can’t produce enough electricity, after putting in place a plan to stop allowing the sale of new internal combustion vehicles in the near future. California’s problem with not being able to produce sufficient electricity is largely tied into their push for green energy; the same culprit that almost cost the loss of the Texas electrical grid during winter storm Uri.

Electric cars may be great someday; but they aren’t there yet. Several areas of technology need to improve by orders of magnitude to make them practical. The same can be said for wind and solar power, which will never be the do-all and end-all that environmentalists claim, until a practical means of storing huge amounts of electricity becomes available.

Nevertheless, the push towards going green marches on and is likely not to stop. If those people who think that global warming is an existential threat were serious about surviving it, maybe they should invest some money into developing ways to survive in a hotter world, rather than punishing people, companies and countries for using technologies that we know work.

Should the left get its way, we’re going to see the petroleum industry gutted in the next decade or two. Without continued exploration, research, and building of new refineries, the petroleum industry will naturally decline. That doesn’t just mean a shortage of fuel for our cars, trucks and airplanes. It means a shortage of a whole host of other things which are dependent on a robust petrochemical industry.

The average age of refineries here in the United States is 40 years, with the oldest being about 120 years old. Considering that such things are usually built with a 50-year life-expectancy, maintenance costs on refineries will continue to climb, as the fleet ages. That will continue to push the manufacturing cost of all petroleum-based products up over the next couple of decades.

But the big scare here isn’t that gasoline will cost us more, it’s all the other products that we receive from the petrochemical industry. This includes plastics, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, pesticides, solvents, perfumes and more. The same political movement that is trying to destroy the petroleum industry is also hard at work destroying all these industries, as well as those that depend on those materials to make their products.

Granted, the loss of the petroleum and petrochemical industries is going to be slow; but as the screws are being tightened on these companies, we can expect prices to rise on a host of products. It may very well get to a point where things which are commonplace become too expensive to buy.

So, what do we do?

Well, we’re the preppers, the self-sufficient ones. If anyone can weather this storm, it’s us. We just need to find ways of replacing the things which will be getting too expensive, with other things that we can make ourselves. Granted, we can’t make everything and so may have to make some decisions to do without. Nevertheless, here are a few key areas where we can start.

Pharmaceuticals

The modern pharmaceutical industry is an outgrowth of herbal medicine. Almost everything they “invent” starts out as something they find in nature. But because the pharmaceutical companies can’t file for a patent on naturally occurring substances, they have to come up with a way to nearly replicate what they’ve found, creating a chemical that will fulfill the same purpose, but is not exactly the same.

Fortunately, their efforts don’t stop the naturally occurring substances from working, as shown by herbal medicine. We can still grow plants that provide many of the needed healing properties, without the risks caused by using artificially created substitutes.

Then there’s our diet. Raising our own food, rather than eating GMO foods, raised on farmland that has had the nutrients depleted from the soil, can go a long way towards helping us stay healthy, so that we don’t have as much need for medicine. Even the physical work of gardening will help us be healthier, as it will help fight obesity, eliminating the risk associated with conditions that are caused by our being overweight.

Plastics

Millions of things are made of plastics every day, including many parts used in the electric vehicles and wind turbines the same leftists love. Most necessary things which are made of plastic have been made of other materials in the past, specifically wood and metal. We can still find many of them made of those more expensive materials today, if we’re willing to pay the higher price for handmade things. The other option is to make them ourselves, something that we will probably need to learn how to do, should there ever be a breakdown of society.

Of course, as self-sufficient people, many of us like making things with our hands anyway; having extensive workshops where we can make everything up to and including furniture. While I doubt that any of us could create an iPad in our garage, the household goods that we can make will be much nicer than those plastic ones anyway.

Pesticides

Pesticides are something we can do without, simply by using alternate means of pest control. There are a number of plants that can be included in our gardens, which will protect them from a wide variety of garden pests. We can also employ beneficial insects, which eat the harmful ones, keeping their population down.

People farmed for centuries before the invention of modern pesticides. They are not a necessity, if we employ some of the same methods that those ancestors did. If they worked back then, they’ll work for us as well.

Fertilizers

Chemical fertilizers are never as good as natural ones, in part because they don’t include all the same nutrients. The best fertilizers you can get are compost and those made from animal byproducts. Both composted manure and fish emulsion are excellent fertilizers, providing more nutrition than artificially created ones, whether those come from petroleum products or elsewhere.

Composting should be a part of every gardener’s plan anyway, as it not only provides a way of using clippings from the garden and waste from the kitchen, but returns those nutrients back to the soil, where they can help grown the next generation of plants.

Keep in mind that the plants in your garden need much more than just the three basic nutrients provided in most chemical fertilizers. While those three are the most important for general plant growth, other nutrients are needed to create the vitamins that we expect to be able to get from eating those vegetables. Without those nutrients in the soil, our produce isn’t as healthy as we think it is. That’s part of the problem with modern farming.

Perfumes

While perfumes might not be considered an absolute necessity, many do contain ingredients that come from the petrochemical industry, including scents. Yet there are many sweet-smelling things in nature, especially in flowers, which can make excellent perfumes. Long before the perfumes we know today existed, perfumers used natural ingredients which they would gather and use to make their products.

This has largely become a lost art; but the knowledge of how to make those perfumes isn’t lost. Learning how to make perfumes could easily create a side gig to earn extra money and would probably be a welcomed skill in a post-disaster world.

Conclusion

Granted, we’re not in any danger of losing our nation’s petroleum and petrochemical industries quickly; but it seems the writing is on the wall. The left won’t quit until they destroy that part of our economy, regardless of the cost. Then they’ll blame the problems they cause on someone else, “wreckers” who stopped making the things we need, rather than what they’ve done themselves.

Russia Plans To Punish War Deserters, And Those Who Refuse To Kill For The Ruling Class

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to mobilize troops for war has been unpopular. The draft has caused desertion and refusal to serve the ruling class, however, Russia has plans to punish those who won’t kill for them.

Last week Putin’s order called up some 300,000 reservists, with some reports speculating that the actual figure could be much higher, as much as one million, according to some sources, though this remains unconfirmed. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has meanwhile been encouraging safe passage and protection for Russian soldiers who “surrender”, according to his words summarized in The Hill.

On Saturday, Putin enacted significant measures to prevent citizens from fleeing draft notices, as he signed into law stiff penalties for desertion.  Putin specifically introduced “mobilization, martial law, and wartime” measures into the Russian Criminal Code for the first time, which also covers long prison terms for “voluntary” surrender, according to a report by ZeroHedge.

If you haven’t realized yet that all government is slavery and we are all slaves to the same system, it may be too late for you. Forcing people to kill for you and do what you say or punish them means they own you and you have an obligation to obey or face their punishment.

The Worst Is Yet to Come - The World Faces Unprecedented Crisis. Millions People Will Be Pushed Into Extreme Poverty

Longtime investor/money manager, Jeremy Grantham, is noted for straight-talking, scholarly market assessments.

(W)e live in a mean-reverting world in investing,” he once said.

All bubbles revert to their median valuation — “no exceptions ever.”

Often before at this level, they fall well below it.

On August 31, Grantham published his latest assessment of market conditions, titled “Entering the Superbubble’s Final Act,” explaining the following:

“Only a few market events in an investor’s career really matter, and among the most important of all are superbubbles…events unlike any others.”

One reoccurring feature “is a bear market rally” after an initial sharp decline.

“(U)nwary investors (are) lur(ed) back just in time for the market to turn down again, only more viciously, and the economy to weaken.”

“This summer’s rally (now ended) perfectly fit the pattern.”

Even after declining sharply, “(t)he US stock market remains very expensive” at a time of soaring inflation, what “always hurts multiples.”

And “now fundamentals (are) deteriorat(ing) enormously,” Grantham explained.

They include another economically and socially destructive lockdown in China, what’s harming over 20 million people.

It certainly doesn’t protect anyone anywhere when instituted, indisputably the opposite.

Market fundamentals are also harmed by “food and energy crises, record fiscal tightening, and more,” said Grantham.

What hindsight one day may call the mother of all superbubbles includes “an unprecedentedly dangerous mix of cross-asset overvaluation (with bonds, housing, and stocks all critically overpriced and now rapidly losing momentum), a commodity shock, and Fed hawkishness.”

“Each cycle is different and unique – but every historical parallel suggests that the worst is yet to come.”

Times like now matter most for investors because they’re treacherous, Grantham stressed, adding:

It’s important to understand that the higher superbubbles go, the further they have to fall.

They break in “multiple stages.”

At their peak level, “a setback occurs,” what happened in Q I and II this year.

A “bear market rally” follows at some point, usually regaining half or more of losses incurred.

“(F)inally, fundamentals deteriorate and the market declines to a low.”

Examples of US bear market rallies include the following, Grantham explained, saying:

“1. From the November low in 1929 to the April 1930 high, the market rallied 46% – a 55% recovery of the loss from the peak.”

“2. In 1973, the summer rally after the initial decline recovered 59% of the S&P 500’s total loss from the high.”

“3. In 2000, the NASDAQ recovered 60% of its initial losses in just 2 months.”

“4. In 2022, at the intraday peak on August 16th, the S&P had made back 58% of its losses since its June low.”

At market peaks, economic conditions look rosy.

That was the state of things in 1929, 1972, 1999, “and in Japan (the most important non-US superbubble).”

“The aging cycle and temporary near perfection of fundamentals leave economic and financial data with only one way to go.”

What can’t go on forever never does, and what goes up inevitably comes down.

At this time, after an initial superbubble-bursting decline and bear market rally, “the fundamentals are far worse than expected,” Grantham stressed.

They include economic trouble in China where “too many things are going wrong at the same time (in a nation that) carried by far the biggest load of global growth for the last 30 years.”

And there’s real estate weakness throughout the US/West and elsewhere.

“Historically, real estate has been the most important asset class for economic stability,” Grantham explained.

And this reality check, saying:

“Previous superbubbles saw a much worse subsequent economic outlook if they combined multiple asset classes,” including stocks, bonds and housing.

“(O)r if they combined an inflation surge and (rising interest) rate shock with a stock bubble.”

“The current superbubble features the most dangerous mix of these factors in modern times.”

The three major asset classes – housing, stocks, and bonds – “were critically historically overvalued at the end of last year.”

And now there’s soaring inflation, rising interest rates, and “commodity shocks” caused by shortages and high prices.

“If history repeats,” what’s highly likely, “the play will once again be a Tragedy,” Grantham explained.

Our New Normal: War, Inflation, Poverty, Starvation, Economic Collapse, Fascism, Marxism, Communism, and Murder

So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men.

The gullibility of man it seems has no bounds, for if it did, how could so many be so blind? As I reflect on the past 19 months or so, it is quite alarming to understand the scope of this scam called a ‘pandemic,’ and how this entire country (and the world) have embraced lies, deception, and tyranny of such magnitude. Mass murder at the hands of the state has already begun, but with the rollout of deadly and poisonous injections purposely mislabeled as ‘vaccines,’ the murder of large numbers that is democide, will be evident among this entire population for years to come. The perpetrators of this genocidal takeover of society are now coming after all children and will attempt to poison as many as possible with their ‘vaccines’ over the course of this year and next.

Only a nation of pathetic cowardly fools would allow such an abominable fate for their own defenseless offspring. This type of behavior indicates a total lack of intellect and mass ignorance of reality. It also indicates widespread indifference, which is incarnate of a sick and immoral society.

So, it seems that the so-called “new normal” of totalitarian rule over a slave-like society, is not just the fault of those who wish to rule over us, but more so the people at large for allowing this to happen without proper resistance. Blaming the enemy is easy, but accepting blame for self is avoided at all costs, and this attitude is even worse than that of tyrants. It is expected that the evil among us who are the ruling class exists, but the evil of mass apathy can never be accepted or excused.

In the course of the past few years, this country’s citizens have fully acquiesced to the will of a totalitarian regime, and in the process, have laid bare their weaknesses due to unfounded fear. Many believe there is safety in numbers, but that is only the mindset of herd animals, not humans. By voluntarily allowing for the death and destruction of part of the herd, the rest survive to live one more day, but when people accept this attitude, they also have to accept the death and destruction of their family, friends, and neighbors as normal for survival. If that is the case, it seems that the evolution of the human species is going backward, and that is exactly what collectivism is meant to accomplish.

With this comes the consequences of non-action, and under these circumstances, those consequences are always at the discretion of the tyrants. What has happened to date should be enough for anyone to see the folly of having confidence in any state or nation. What began with lockdowns and quarantines, led to business closings, job loss, extreme stress, supply line disruption, shortages, higher prices for goods and services, (inflation), and of course economic chaos. This in turn led to much more poverty, despair, and starvation, setting the stage for the next phase of this takeover. By this time, the people should have recognized the totalitarian nature of what was going on, but alas, they remained obedient and passive and watched as their world was decimated.

In order to see the writing on the wall, one must seek out and accept the truth, regardless of the risk involved in doing so. To avoid the truth in favor of hiding from reality, hoping that someone else will ‘fix’ things, is exactly what all tyrannical rulers seek in the populations they are attempting to control. It is my expressed opinion, that the timing of this takeover coup was based fully on the fact that the master class knew that the general population was too afraid, too dependent, and too apathetic to fight back against this dictatorial authoritarianism that had been planned for decades. The timing of this was genius because the masses acted in exactly the manner desired.

While no such thing as ‘Covid-19’ actually exists and has never been identified, the real threat that is the real pandemic had been held aside for just the right moment, and early this year the ‘vaccine’ pandemic was released. The ‘vaccine’ is the bio-weapon, and the so-called non-existent variants of a non-existent virus, are the result of the deadly ‘vaccines.’ In other words, the ‘vaccine’ is the pandemic, and all those who have voluntarily taken the injections will be the victims of this staged pandemic. Once the deaths from these jabs reach unprecedented numbers, and they will, the rest of society who have not succumbed to the idiocy of taking such a dangerous concoction will be blamed. In effect, all will have been targeted by the criminal state, whether they got the injection or not. The ‘vaccinated’ group will be sick and dying, while the unvaccinated group will be hunted by the state. This is why this society has already been divided by stealth in order to pit those vaccinated against those who are unvaccinated; a sinister plot meant to solidify control of both groups.

This is a communistic takeover attempt, that has all the elements of Fascism, Marxism, and Communism rolled into one. It is the most dangerous time in history for the inhabitants of this planet, as it is an attempt to achieve a globalized takeover of all in order to convert to one technocratically controlled system, where there are an ‘elite’ few’ at the top, their enforcers and corporate partners below, including government, with the rest being a slave class known as the proletariat.

While this ‘pandemic’ is thought to be about a mystery virus, it is not, as the virus narrative is just the tool being used to accomplish the real agenda, which has its roots based in the guise of ‘sustainable development’ marketed through the idiocy of man-made climate change. This has been fully outlined in the UN’s Agenda 21 and Agenda 30, and in the aptly named “Great Reset’ agenda described by Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum. In reality, it has but one objective, and that is to achieve total global governance and universal control overall. To be successful in this venture, many hundreds of millions, or more likely billions, will need to be murdered. The ‘vaccines’ are the tools of murder, so avoidance of these injections at all costs is imperative.

This is not a new threat, but it has been carefully manipulated to occur at this time in order to coincide with the people’s ignorance and indifference, their prepared division, their weakness and dependence on the state, and therefore their cowardice in the face of adversity. This ‘vaccine’ is the key to success for the evil and criminal rulers, so the fewer of us that take these witches to brew, the more of us who will be able to fight back against this heinous attempt to destroy humanity. Our only hope is to remain non-compliant, to disobey every order, and to abolish the current governing system that has assumed dictatorial powers with voluntary cooperation from the masses.

“The opposite of love does not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.”

Putin is “The New Hitler” as Nuclear War With Russia Becoming Increasingly Probable

Hitler and Putin are only historically similar in their demands: reunite lands populated by their ethnic kinsmen, who due to unfair historical circumstances brokered by enemy powers, are stranded inside nations that actively persecute and despise them.

Unbelievably, Putin made the same mistake as Hitler, which was not to invade the Soviet Union but rather to underestimate the will of the decadent liberal powers to refuse to give even an inch.

The fork in the road that departs from comparisons with known history is the advent of nuclear weapons.

This is scary stuff, but certainly — and perhaps we are underestimating them again! -makes irrational and inflexible Jewish globalists more likely to accept that other nations have sovereign interests too.

Is NATO willing to risk a nuclear exchange just to keep the Russians of Donbass and Crimea under Zelensky’s rule against their will?

The British, with USA material backing, were willing to escalate to a full blown World War just to prevent the unification of German populated lands with Germany.

I think it is unwise for Putin to be talking about nuclear weapons.

If he thinks he can spook the nihilistic, suicidal, homicidal sodomites and psychotic Jews who govern the West, he is probably mistaken.

The Kremlin is making a huge error to assume that just because all of the NATO nation diplomats they meet are female, nerdy Jews or gay that they will back off after hearing a few barks.

That means that there needs to be a bite, and when you put your nukes on the table, this can quickly go to a place of no return.

The crazed neoliberal elite and their Jewish handlers who run the West do not fear the possibility of nuclear exchange. They view the war in Ukraine as an existential fight for the existence of the neoliberal world order.

A fight they are as of now decidedly losing, particularly in the areas of global influence and adherence to neoliberal dogma outside the West.

The losing side in a war always acts the least rationally.

Liz Truss, the Prime Minister of Britain, state just under a month ago (metro.co.uk/2022/08/24/liz-truss-ready-to-use-nuclear-weapons-17235063/) that she was prepared to use nuclear weapons.

Emmanuel Macron, President of France, spoke in 2020 of a “pure and unrestrained nuclear competition” (www.france24.com/en/20200207-macron-unveils-nuclear-doctrine-warns-eu-cannot-remain-spectators-in-arms-race) , and we doubt his Jewish Prime Minister, Elizabeth Borne, would protest such a competition.

And American President Joe Biden, breaking a notable campaign promise, signed off just this year (www.armscontrol.org/act/2022-04/news/biden-policy-allows-first-use-nuclear-weapons) on a policy allowing the US to use nuclear weapons to defend the “vital interests” of the US, its allies and partners.

Too often words meant to prevent rash behavior end up causing rash behavior.

Many Economists Believe That Another Great Depression It’s Likely To Happen This Year. ‘The World Faces Unprecedented Hunger Crisis’. Millions People Will Be Pushed Into Extreme Poverty

The Great Depression of the 1930s is burned into most preppers’ minds. The horror stories from that grim time are a stark reminder of how fast things can go bad, even in a country that seems rich, strong and confident – and of how bad they can get.

As a motivation to be prepared, the Great Depression takes some beating.

But what if, as well as a reminder of why prepping is a good idea, it’s also what we need to be preparing for?

Many economists believe that another Great Depression could throw the world back into the poverty and chaos of the dustbowl era, and some think it’s likely to happen this year.

Paranoid? Alarmist? Well, they have a lot of evidence on their side – too much to just dismiss.

Technically, the Great Depression lasted for four years, from 1929 to 1933. In reality, it took until 1940 for US GDP to recover to its 1929 level, and even then unemployment was still at 15%. Only the militarization of the economy for World War II finally swept away the Great Depression’s after-effects.

Is A New Depression Coming?

When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, it threw the US economy into recession in a matter of days. In the second quarter of 2020, US GDP fell by 31.4% – one of the fastest and deepest falls ever.

However, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the 2020 recession was also the shortest ever; officially, it lasted just two months. Technically it was too short to qualify as a recession at all.

There’s a lot more to the story than that, though. Our economy has bounced back a long way from the damage lockdown did, but it’s still in deep trouble – and the government is storing up even more trouble for the future. There are a lot of pieces moving behind the scenes, and if they line up wrong a depression could hit us fast and hard.

A lot of Americans are still jobless. In June 2021 the unemployment rate stood at 5.9%. That’s a long way down from its 14.7% peak last April – but a long way up from the 3.5% we had last February. Millions of Americans who were working 18 months ago are unemployed now, and the growth in jobs seems to have slowed.

Unemployment fell by 7% in the six months after the April peak, but only 1.9% in the next nine months. The June 2021 figure was actually slightly up on May, which alarmed economists who’d been expecting another small drop.

Despite unemployment that in normal times would be a national scandal, the government is paying people to sit at home. In many states, the jobless can still claim an extra $300 a month in federal assistance. If you were in a low-paid job, regular unemployment plus an extra $300 might just be enough that you don’t really want to go back to work.

Unfortunately, businesses need low-paid employees too – and having so many of them out of work is slowing our economic recovery.

The Danger of Inflation

Of course, all that extra unemployment benefit has to be paid for, and the government is paying for it by printing money. The stimulus checks sent to every American home also had to be paid for, and the government printed the money for those too. The huge “stimulus” and “infrastructure” bills the government is enacting? A lot of that money will be printed, and the rest borrowed.

The trouble is, creating or borrowing that much new money doesn’t make the country richer; it makes each dollar less valuable. There’s a shortage of vacant homes, so people have to pay more to buy or rent one. That causes inflation and a weaker dollar.

As the dollar gets weaker, imported goods cost more. We import oil, so that means gas costs more. And that’s if you can afford a car to put the gas in, because we import a lot of cars too.

As imports get more expensive, the supply of domestic goods can’t keep up – so prices rise. Employers have to pay more for energy and raw materials, which pushes prices up more. High gas costs for transport get added to prices, which go up again. There are more dollars in the economy, but we can’t buy as much.

So, the government passes laws to raise the minimum wage – which means employers have to raise prices even more. After a certain point it all starts to feed on itself, and inflation isn’t just rising anymore; it takes off like a rocket.

Debt

Right now, our money supply is inflating by about a billion dollars every hour. Our national debt is rising so quickly that, if you look at it in real time, the last five digits are changing too fast to follow. By 2025 we’ll be spending more on debt interest than we do on defense.

Sometime beyond that, maybe in the 2030s, debt interest will match, then exceed, tax revenues. We’ll need to borrow – or print – more money just to pay the interest on what we’ve already borrowed.

But will we even make it that far? On July 28, Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell admitted that inflation is rising – and could go further than the Fed had predicted. If the government keeps pumping new money into the system inflation will spiral out of control this year. There are signs that it’s already happening.

House prices are up 23% in just one year. Used car prices are up 45%. Farmers say even the cost of a bale of hay has risen 20% in the last twelve months. That’s all pushing the inflation figures upwards, and it might already be too late for the government to push the lid back down.

Smart preppers will be ready for the next Great Depression to hit very, very soon.

How Bad Could It Be?

The original Great Depression was bad – but if one hits now it will be much, much worse. In 1929 the global economy was nowhere near as interconnected as it is today. If inflation keeps rising the weak dollar will cripple the US economy – and we can’t pay for a New Deal-style program to get it moving again.

On top of that we’re much more dependent on power and communications than our ancestors were. Can you imagine a life without electricity?

Well, if you want to survive the next depression you need to figure that in. Can you work without the internet? Can you access your bank account if your cell phone app stops working?

Final Words

Getting through the next depression is going to mean prepping for the long term. Three months’ worth of food won’t be enough, because the depression will last for years. You need to be looking at livestock, and the ability to grow your own crops.

When you look at electricity generation, consider wind, water and solar power – they don’t rely on fuel that might become unaffordable.

If we want to make it through a crash like the 1929 generation, we’ll need many of the skills and tools they had. Are you prepared for that?

The Era of Transhumanism a Final Corporate Takeover of Humanity! 'can We Make a Human Species Without Weakness of Disease and Illness, Anger and Sadness, and Ultimately Overcome Death Itself?'

The rapid expansion of technology in this new millennium radically transformed our social landscape. The modern life filled with information has placed everyone behind computer screens and cell phones. As society has become more abstract, it became virtual, fabricated with images that are dissociated from the facts and events of the world.

In many ways, the recent hype of “fake news” reflects this counterfeit reality that we are all surrounded by. Waves of whistleblowers in recent years revealed that we live in a kind of simulation intervened by government and corporate media propaganda. The 2008 financial meltdown exposed the global economy, overdriven by the bubble of toxic assets and stocks that were propped up by central banks with their money made out of thin air. This Ponzi scam of financial engineering was further covered up by bank bailouts, creating a fake recovery.

Meanwhile, our ‘democracy’ has been one big consumer fraud. We have been duped by psychopaths in power who pull the strings of puppet politicians. Civic power has been fragmented by a corporate duopoly, keeping the populace in false hope for change in the electoral arena. With tactics of divide and conquer, monetary elites behind the scenes trigger emotions, stirring conflicts among voters in a national tournament of identity politics. Once people are trapped by fear and hatred that are carefully manufactured, they easily lose sight of reality. Rather than finding commonality and building a coalition to solve problems, many engage in mutually assured self-destruction.

While the American working class is distracted by this political charade, the economy continues to stagnate, making the divide between the rich and poor ever wider. The beast of neoliberalism that has been devouring victims abroad is now finally coming home to roost. Now, ordinary Americans are suffering from unemployment, homelessness and lack of access to medical care. Young people are burdened with predatory student debt, where despite the promise of college recruiters, there are few viable jobs for them. Social services are defunded, throwing away elders, while a military budget gets fatter and fatter, with increased defense contracts for the never ending wars.

Free ticket to heaven?

While political corruption is deepening the crisis of institutions and governments, Silicon Valley tech companies through lobbying have steadily gained influence in Washington. Now, technological innovation is pushed forward as a solution to the breakdown of social systems. From Apple and Google to Facebook, giant tech companies put a monopoly on AI, trying to control its development, so to dictate the course of our future. With the initiative of universal basic income (UBI), wealthy and elite technologists advocate for the creation of a robot economy where labor is replaced by automation.

Here the radical vision of humanity 2.0 arises. The coming of a post-human era promises to alleviate suffering, make us stronger, more intelligent and godlike. Transhumanists try to bring eternal life through insemination of machine intelligence into the human body. By combining big data with AI software, the idea is already there for humanity to attain digital immortality, where one can develop mind clones of oneself that has its own life on the web. Dr. Michio Kaku, theoretical physicist and futurist shares his aspiration of uploading a digital memory, creating a new pill that slows down people’s perception of time and drugs that can eliminate painful memories.

The idea of fusion with technology as a next stage in human evolution can speak to our own narcissism induced by social media attention culture. The H+ agenda can be marketed by appealing to one’s desire for recognition, to be boundless and to attain mastery of oneself. Through social engineering, it will corral the herd and achieve mass adoption. Yet this techno-utopia does not come for free. One has to pay a heavy price for the ticket to this supposed heaven on earth. In the exchange to transcend human limitations, we are asked to give up the essence of being human. What are we expected to sacrifice on this altar of transcendence?

Free will and learning

Humans are endowed with subjectivity that places them in relationship with the world. With this self-awareness, we are given freedom to determine the course of our own actions. While machines can only do what they are programmed to do, humans with intention can choose their actions and alter the situation through insight and creativity. This freedom releases spontaneity and variation, making the environment not fixed and unpredictable. At the same time, out of this comes the potential for errors. Choices expose men to the propensity for mistakes and make them fallible.

The AI trend of technological intervention of humanity now threatens this ability to make choices. Automation narrows and eliminates the space for humans to make their own decisions, locking society into a deterministic future. Through scientific and mathematical precision, the force of mechanization tries to remove possibilities for errors and by doing so, it deprives something essential about human beings.

What make us different from these artificial beings is our free will and unique learning processes that are associated with it. Our connection to the world binds us deeply to the consequences of our own choices. In a moment we make a mistake, reality blows up in our face and we are forced to see the results of what we have created. The feeling of shame and guilt that overwhelm us can break the heart wide open. The unbearable pain awakens one’s moral sensibility. With these burning sensations, we directly experience our own actions and the effect they have on others’ lives.

When we confront our own mistakes with honesty, we can transform this sense of humiliation into humility. We learn to become humble. This connects us to other human beings, allowing us to see reality from their perspectives. This empathy makes us strive to mend our actions. It is the foundation of conscience that makes humans acknowledge their errors and inspire one another to repent, undo wrongdoing and learn.

Fiction of corporate personhood

It is this morality rooted in our relationship to the environment that corporate culture has been trying hard to eradicate. Agendas behind transhumanist movements can be seen as the ultimate goal of transnational corporations. The rise of corporate power turned civilization against nature. Multinational agricultural biotechnology corporations like Monsanto have assaulted life by monopolizing seeds and poisoning food with GMOs.

Corporations as artificial entities bring the force that hardens the heart. They assert themselves in society through the legal fiction of corporate personhood. The theater of the American Dream managed by big business has turned citizens into consumers, who are directed to find happiness in consumption and material acquisition. Unbridled greed of capitalism bombards all with ads and commercials, 24 hours 7 days a week, making us chase after products that we don’t need and to be always cheerful, while suppressing sadness and deep dissatisfaction of life with antidepressant drugs. Ensnared by glamorous Hollywood life and a culture that worships youth, many engage in a pathological pursuit for perfection, to be beautiful, thin, and ageless.

In this fictional world, we are not humans. Workers are exploited, being treated as disposable with no benefits, while mega corporations look for the next cheap labor to exploit and new markets to make a killing. The merciless cyborg with its callous skin controls world finance, turning all living beings into caricatures in their tyrannical fantasy. In this artificial natural selection pushed forward by the invisible hands of the market, the cold algorithm enacts financial terrorism, dictating who should survive and who should die.

Pursuit of happiness and pathological drive for perfection

Now, in Trump’s America, the fiction of corporate personhood finds a new iteration to make its dream great again. As the nation consolidates power with the new administration, we all become contestants in The Apprentice. In this grandiose Reality Show, we are told to mimic corporate personhood, to be cunning and self-serving or we will be fired. The world of Wall Street entices all to a path of personal power, filled with ambition, vanity and pride. Plundering through exploitative business practices and addictive gambling of high frequency trading becomes a way of life. Corruption is rife with rampant greed and sexual conquest.

Inside 9-5 office hours of white collar jobs, relationships became impersonal and transactional, where people are forced to hide real emotions behind professional masks. In this supposed free market competition that bars entry to immigrants, people of color and transgenders, workers are trained to mind their own business by climbing up the ladder of success in a rat race of profit at any cost. Deep inside the labyrinth of organizational hierarchies, we are cut off from our own authentic feelings and lose the ground of consensual reality. We no longer are held accountable by feedback of others.

Now, with depletion of resources and environmental destruction, the life of the American dream is becoming unsustainable. As the fantasy of corporate personhood is losing its fuel, it seems to be carried into a vision of techno-utopianism. Through mass surveillance and authoritarian use of police force, the corporate state has been attacking privacy and autonomy of individuals. From face recognition technology and biometrics used at borders to AI augmented cyber-security and auto flying drones, it further mechanizes this world. The goal is no longer just total control of the world to create an ever more perfect world, but to control human nature itself by reprogramming our biology to create a perfect self.

As the disfranchised middle class is slowly waking up from their insulated reality and starting to face their broken life, transhumanism offers all a short cut to nirvana. From the magic of genetic modification to the creation of the mind file, through making humans directly interface with the net, technology is presented to rescue us, trying to numb throbbing aches in the arteries that carry the ebb and flow of our human experience.

Humanity at a crossroads

Transhumanist thinkers with technological enlightenment ideas declare the liberation of humanity from a cog in the wheel of the corporate machine, only to once again ensnare all in their Sci Fi illusory future. From self-driving cars to androids, robots that are designed to look and act like a human, artificial intelligence is here in everyday life, promising to make our life more convenient, efficient and safe. With a gospel of machine supremacy preaching perfection, increased dominance of technology can annihilate our free will that is a prerequisite for developing conscience.

With artificial nerves that can’t carry the warmth of blood, robots mimic life in their synthetic existence. They are the phantoms that claim immortality, when they never even had a chance to truly live. These ghosts in the machine make us sever our ties to the world, by turning the heart into a pump that pushes out the pain of our mother in her giving birth to a child.

Our remembering of her pain that brought all of life makes us remain connected to her world. “We are living in a fake world; we are watching fake evening news. We are fighting a fake war. Our government is fake,” said renowned Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. He continued:

But we find reality in this fake world. So our stories are the same; we are walking through the fake scenes, but ourselves, as we walk through these scenes, are real. The situation is real, in the sense that it’s a commitment, it’s a true relationship.

Our ability to feel is a testimony of being human, allowing us to be a real person in this fake world. To be human is to live among flesh, being audaciously flawed. Our striving to bear our own pain awakens compassion. We are able to forgive ourselves and others. We find strength to love one another in our authenticity found in each other’s imperfection. This total acceptance of human errors connects us to potent creative power within that resists rigidity, mechanization and all stagnation, keeping the world alive through our relationship with her.

Humanity is now at a crossroads. With the exponential growth of technology, we have the capability to bring a great turning or destroy the world. Branches of science; technology, engineering, chemistry and medicine helped mankind overcome natural disaster and disease and live more comfortably in this harsh physical environment. Renewable energy technologies can help us create a sustainable future. These are tools that can be used for the good. They can reduce poverty and enhance the quality of our lives. But they can be also used against us and our ability to make choices needs to be preserved to determine which path we will take.

Transhumanism is marching on into our society, showing its footsteps everywhere. With iPad and Android, talking gadgets are entering into the crib, hijacking childhood imagination. Day and night technology snatches youngster’s attention, plugging them into Instagram and Snapchat. As the expansion of this machine world accelerates, our life gets faster and faster, making it harder for us to be present in our own bodies.

We need to stay awake and not sleepwalk through this time of decision. Reality may be painful, but if we lose our own sense of reality by giving up what feels at the center of our hearts, it will be the death of our own selves. Such is a tragic loss of what it means to be human and the life of all on this planet that we are meant to steward.

Digital Humanity Heading Toward a Digital World Reality: A Robotic and Distorted Environment Without Culture, Caring, or Intellect?

“Millions of people never analyze themselves. Mentally they are mechanical products of the factory of their environment, preoccupied with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, working and sleeping, and going here and there to be entertained. They don’t know what or why they are seeking, nor why they never realize complete happiness and lasting satisfaction. By evading self-analysis, people go on being robots, conditioned by their environment. True self-analysis is the greatest art of progress.”

~ Paramahansa Yogananda (1986). “Self-realization”

Human beings it seems are creatures of their environment. Although they have the ability, at least in theory, to reason, think, and respond as individuals to life’s challenges, they rarely do, as that aspect of human behavior has been largely lost in this new collective and digital age. In my opinion, this was not accidental, but by design. One might question this hypothesis, but proving it to be untrue would be another matter, as any number of examples of the robotic nature and mindset of the herd abound. Humanity has turned away from its foundational roots, its cultural heritage, its individual spirit, and its connection with the natural world in favor of collective digital idiocy.

One of the signs that expose these truths, is the almost universal dependency on technology that has consumed the public. Little personal communication or togetherness seems necessary or important when all forms of interaction boil down to ‘smart’ phones, computers, and the games and circuses offered to the sleeping sheep. Abandonment of loved ones became the new normal in this age of fake and fraudulent ‘virus pandemics.’ Due to this mindset and addiction to technology, the family structure has been and is being eliminated; no longer held up as the basis for society, but an afterthought rarely considered except as an impediment to instant gratification and the useless exploitation of some at the expense of all.

The plan of course, as laid out by the technocratic ruling ‘elite,’ the government, the media, and the huge corporate powers, was to sacrifice all tradition, culture, individuality, true history, art, natural biology, and morality, so that a society of like-minded fools could be easily manipulated to act and react just as intended by the state masters. This of course became blatantly obvious during the ‘covid’ scam, and the mass obedience to heinous state ‘covid’ directives. Nothing could be more obvious, as most in this country and around the world, deserted any aspect of personal responsibility, empathy, compassion, and natural caring for family, friends, and neighbors in the name of the spurious notion called the ‘common good.’ This has literally led to the near elimination of the family unit, leaving hatred, discontent, depression, and emptiness in its wake.

The recent science fiction craze of zombies running the streets may not be so far-fetched after all, and the inordinate number of zombie movies being produced in Hollywood may be the foretelling of our future instead of just worthless ‘entertainment.’ But instead of dead people rising from their graves to terrorize the living, we are facing a situation where the majority of the living could rise from the state-controlled technocracy to become drones or brain-dead, computerized cyborgs in a non-caring, transhuman existence. Before you scoff at this possibility, or shout out “conspiracy theorist,” you may want to consider what has happened over the past two years. One cannot look at all the carnage and changes due to fake pandemics, war threats, lockdowns, mass injection of toxic poison, and totalitarian evil levied on society; all voluntarily accepted by the zombie-like hordes of collective fools that make up this country and most others today. How many of you could have predicted the apocalyptic scope of this dystopic takeover plot just a few years ago? Only a very few understood the risks we faced, and they were ignored by nearly all, and labeled as tin foil hat types. I know, because I was and am one of these so-called “conspiracy theorists.”

Generally speaking, it is difficult to observe human activity today, regardless of the personal or societal circumstance involved, whether family outings, sporting events, just walking on the street, at restaurants, concerts, or just every day-to-day activity, without noticing that nearly all are intimately attached to their phone. They are not only attached, but consumed by it, as if they could not survive without it for even a moment. These phones can be useful, but they have become an unhealthy part of the body and mind of most in this country and beyond.

This phenomenon is not innocent, as it makes dependent the majority of human beings to such an extent as to make it easy for the state under the false guise of speed, entertainment, and convenience, to fully control the masses. It is even worse than this, because this dependency also completely enslaves society, and allows for every single conversation, every financial transaction, every surveillance technique, every health event, every purchase and sale; actually, everything in life due to this technological coup stands to strengthen the state control over all at levels that have only been imagined in ‘science fiction’ movies. These movies and games in many cases, are simply foretelling the future planned by the masters you have voluntarily chosen to rule over you.

The more automated and technologically tied one becomes, the more dangerous is the risk to all freedom and liberty. In order for the state to gain total control, it needs to claim power over all movement, all money, all health and medicine, all financial and economic processes; making everything subject to its will. A constant state of emergency is the key element to bring this about, and we are seeing this scenario become reality every day at this point. Total enforcement by the ruling class is sought, which means due to social credit scoring, new state outlined societal behavior norms, mass compliance with state mandates in order to exist; all as defined by the state, must be created, demanded, and imposed in order to achieve full societal compliance.

This dystopian nightmare is being advanced right before our eyes, as the majority of the populace is voluntarily allowing it to take place. Many think the people are winning this battle against the destruction of freedom, but they are very mistaken, and seemingly blind to realty. There is a point of no return, and it is getting closer all the time. Mass resistance has not been evident to date, and mass resistance is mandatory if any freedom is to survive. This resistance must begin and end with the individual, acting en masse; not as any asinine collective group thinking as one, but all individuals thinking for themselves together.

What is necessary now? Hold on tightly to all your guns and weapons, as more pressure to take them away from you will be forthcoming after more false flag ‘shootings’ take place. If this happens, Americans will be helpless against the evil and monstrous state. Understand that the actual controlling class owns and commands the media, the politicians, including the highest positions in government, the courts, the criminal banking system, and the murdering police and military. Speak out constantly, accept and spread the truth, do not obey or comply with any government mandates, and educate yourselves concerning what is actually going on in front of you, instead of reading headlines or watching the idiotic and insane mainstream ‘news.’ Turn off your TV.

The only way to salvage freedom is to immediately wake your pathetic asses up, and do something to help yourselves!

Bilderberg knows that however the global realignments play out, and whatever a reset global financial system looks like, the shape of the world will be determined by big tech. And if the endgame is “Continuity of Government,” as the agenda suggests, that continuity will be powered by AI.

Whatever billionaire ends up making the software that runs the world, Bilderberg aims to make damned sure that it has its hand on the mouse.”

WE DON’T HAVE TO CREATE A WORLD IN WHICH MACHINES ARE TELLING US WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO THINK, ALTHOUGH WE MAY VERY WELL END UP IN A WORLD LIKE THAT WHERE ALGORITHMS DECIDE WHO LIVES OR WHO DIES

You can write volumes on the state of the world, but one has only to look at the state of the world to see what algorithms are doing. Algori...
